Months later…

The cruise was wonderful, the quilting students were great, & we were in parts of Alaska where I hadn’t been before.

Meanwhile, time marches on. The long silence between posts does NOT indicate sickness, tragedy, trials, etc., thank God! It does indicate procrastination.

Linda V. Taylor–a gracious lady whose quilting skills I admire greatly–travels, teaches, manages the business & family interests, & also finds time to keep up her blog. What excuse have I?

This week I’m attending Machine Quilters Exposition-West in Portland, Oregon, with great anticipation. Exciting classes to attend, vendors with old, new, & innovative products, beautiful show quilts for viewing. I have entered three quilts, my first venture into a juried show–a full-sized bed quilt, a wall hanging, & an innovative wholecloth. Two of them have already won awards in other venues–more about that later.
