A Work in Progress – One Year Later

( See June 30, 2012, entry, exactly one year ago)

Finished at last, & in place!

Quilted window coverings

Each panel is the size of a queen bedspread,  mostly batik fabrics, & each panel is lined with light blocker. They are fantastic, majestic, awe inspiring! In the foreground of the glacier flowing from the mountains is a Dall sheep on a rocky crag with an eagle soaring overhead (partially blocked by the light fixture). The other panel features a grizzly bear in a blueberry patch gazing toward a shed moose horn. A little grey jay (“camp robber”) is perched on the shed horn.

Son is a contractor & used scaffolding to put everything in place. The family is very happy with the project, as am I, & I’m also happy it’s all done!
